• City Centre Plans – Have You Commented?

Gosforth Hotel Upstairs Room , United Kingdom

What are they all about? How to have your say Newcastle City Council are seeking comments on their designs for the north of the city centre including Barras Bridge, Percy Street, Claremont Road, Queen Victoria Road and the Great North Road. These include extra space for pedestrians and how cycle routes from Gosforth link to the city centre. Bill Dodds has kindly agreed to quickly talk us through the proposals and answer any questions. There should be a few days following this meeting in which you can submit any feedback. Note that SPACE for Gosforth does not respond as a group to council consultations. If you want these changes to happen and/or to provide feedback then you must respond yourself. These are the plans if you want a look in advance of the meeting. https://northnewcastle.commonplace.is/ If you can come to the meeting please let us know on the Facebook event. - Please tell your family, friends and neighbours about SPACE for Gosforth too - Join us on www.facebook.com/groups/space.gosforth
